Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with 5-8 years of experience in business intelligence and data visualization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and implementing Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making for a Global client organization. Key Responsibilities:Dashboard Development: Design develop and maintain interactive and user-friendly Power BI dashboards and Modeling: Create and manage data models using Power Query DAX and SQL to optimize report Integration: Extract transform and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (SQL databases APIs Excel cloud platforms etc.).Business Insights: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and underlying data structures for enhanced efficiency and performance. Implement and utilize NLP techniques within Power BI to extract insights from unstructured text & Governance: Implement data security role-based access controls and best practices in Power BI : Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT data analysts and business teams to improve reporting : Identify and resolve data inconsistencies performance bottlenecks and report-related : Maintain proper documentation for report designs data flows and technical specifications.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related
Expertise:5-8 years of experience in Power BI development including Power Query DAX and data modeling.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction transformation and query experience applying NLP techniques to extract insights from text data.
Experience integrating Power BI with cloud platform (Azure) is a of Python/R for data analysis is desirable but not mandatory.
Acumen: Understanding of business intelligence analytics and data visualization best practices.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
Preferred Certifications:Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst AssociateMicrosoft Azure Data Fundamentals (Optional)
