Job Summary
Role: Sr Quality Engineer Automation Testing for UK based wealth management client
Location: Bangalore
EssentialCoded Automation proficiency in C Sharp and Visual Studio
Playwright experience preferred
Specflow or ReqNroll or similar BDD frameworkJIRA or equivalent
Confluence or equivalentGeneralEight years or more of QE testing experience with a demonstrable track record on large greenfield projectsTest Automation Strategy and Best Practices Ability to assess when to use automation versus manual testing based on risk ROI and test stabilityAPI and Integration Testing Hands on experience with standard industry tools such as PostmanRisk Based Testing Decisions Ability to determine which tests should be automated high volume regression API versus which should remain manual usability exploratory edge casesTest Maintenance and Scalability Ensuring automation is sustainable by implementing best practices like self healing tests modular frameworks and reusable test scripts
Shift Left Testing Embedding automation early in development
Exploratory and Manual Testing Strategy Understanding the value of manual testing in scenarios that require human intuition such as UX accessibility and new feature validationAgile and Scrum Experience Active participation in Agile ceremoniesExcellence in soft skills including communication collaboration and problem solvingAutomation Framework Design Experience building and maintaining robust automation frameworksLeadership experience Experience with leading Quality Engineers and Automation EngineersPipeline and CI CD experience Setting up maintenance and running of pipelinesDesirablePerformance and Load Testing Familiarity with tools like JMeter Gatling or LoadRunner
