Job Summary
Patriot Erectorsis a full-service AISC-certified steel Fabricator and AISC Advanced Steel Erector. We are looking for skilled fitters/welders to join our dynamic team and bring their expertise to our fast-paced innovative shop!
About the Role:
As a Fitter/Fabricator you will be a crucial part of our operations assembling and fitting structural plate and mechanical materials into various assemblies. Youll work closely with the Shop Superintendent and other team members to ensure high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and Fit:Work with structural forms like frames bridge parts beams and columns.
- Blueprint Mastery:Read and interpret blueprints to plan fitting operations.
- Precision Work:Use your fitter skills to layout and fit detail parts accurately.
- Quality Assurance:Verify the accuracy of fit-ups before inspection.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience:Extensive experience in fitting and fabricating is essential.
- Education:High school diploma or GED plus 12 months of training or equivalent experience.
- Skills:Proficiency in reading shop drawings high motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Certifications:Current welding and OSHA certifications are required.
- Bonus:Experience in overhead crane operation is a plus!
