Key Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints engineering drawings and welding symbols to determine proper welding procedures.
Operate various welding equipment (e.g. MIG TIG Stick Arc) to join metal components according to specifications.
Inspect finished welds for quality integrity and adherence to industry standards and specifications.
Perform grinding deburring and finishing operations on welded parts as required.
Maintain welding equipment and ensure the work area is clean organized and safe.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations company policies and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts with precision and accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG TIG Stick).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial welding environment.
Strong understanding and adherence to safety procedures and quality standards.
AWS certification or equivalent professional welding credentials.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with additional fabrication processes (e.g. cutting grinding fitting).
Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (e.g. forklift overhead crane).
Basic computer skills for logging work or accessing digital documentation.
Ability to troubleshoot welding equipment or process issues.
