Job Description
Job Summary:
Handle responsibilities of day-to-day airports operation.Follow up work progress performance and discipline at the station and take necessary actions to avoid occurrence of any flaws in safety and security within the department in addition to updating Regional Airports Manager / Deputy General Manager - Airport Services of any remarks or difficulties.Closely work with all internal and external agencies and ensure operations are run in smooth and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure functioning of Safety Security and Quality system within the area of responsibility.
- Responsible for meeting Airport Services KPIs and delivering and monitoring the agreed service standards defined in ground operation manualat the airport.
- Accountable for any safety incident or security lapse with regards to AirportOperations.
- Functional and administration head of the airport and cargo air side operations at the respective airport.
- To identify hazards and promote safety culture report them on timely manner to their reporting heads.
- Monitor airport activities to obtain maximum safety punctuality and efficient handling of aircraft Customers cargo and ramp services according to customer needs convenience and satisfaction.
- Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities other airlines and all agencies at airport and maintain cordial relations with all.
- Keep updating down the line staff at the station of amendments of policies and procedures and have regular meetings to discuss station performance.
- Have control and monitoring system in place to ensure that all operational staff follow company and regulatory guidelines with respect of usage of banned substances.
- Keep station preparedness for handling any incident/ accident situation and well versed for him/herself and each member of the team on emergency.
- Monitor safety procedures pertaining to ground handling.
- Do CPA (cost performance analysis) with regards to costs incurred of station on monthly basis.
- Identify training needs for all staff and recommend programs for manpower development. Maintain training records at stations and ensure that all employees are trained and their certification is current to avoid any regulatory findings.
- Encourages open reporting system. Maintain confidentiality of such reports received from the employees. Address / Escalate/ resolve such issues at station and to the higher management.
- Any other duties assigned by the Superiors.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of aviation/airport experience with 2 years of leadership role as DM /APM.
- Good command on English/Hindi language
- Computer knowledge.
Good to have :
- Ms Word knowledge
- Analytical skills
Educational Qualification:
- Should be Graduate.
