Our client a leading medical center is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join their radiation oncology team. This role is responsible for assisting in the planning treatment and monitoring of patients ensuring the delivery of safe accurate and compassionate radiation therapy.
Position Overview
As an integral member of the radiation oncology care team the Radiation Therapist provides treatments under the direction of physicians and works collaboratively with supporting personnel to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. The therapist ensures adherence to all regulatory and safety standards established by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) while maintaining a strong focus on patient comfort safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient responses and provide supportive care during treatment.
- Serve as a liaison between patients physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure compliance with all safety and quality guidelines.
- Uphold radiation safety standards protocols and best practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) State Licensure required.
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) required.
- Entry-level candidates and new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
