Job Summary
Radiation Therapist Day Shift Opportunity
Location: Columbia SC 29203
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Shift Type: Day Shift (5x8-hour shifts)
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Orientation: 16 hours
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join a well-established healthcare team in Columbia South Carolina. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule allowing for excellent worklife balance while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
Prepare and position patients for daily treatment sessions
Operate advanced radiation therapy equipment in accordance with protocols
Monitor patients during treatment and report any concerns to the clinical team
Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records
Collaborate closely with oncologists physicists and nursing staff
Requirements
Active Radiation Therapist certification and applicable state licensure
Prior experience in radiation therapy preferred
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Vaccination Requirements (Facility Guidelines)
