About the Role

This role is designed to provide a comprehensive exposure to mechanical engineering principles by actively participating in current projects alongside our experienced engineers. As a Mechanical Engineering Student Placement you will engage in a variety of tasks that support the design analysis testing and manufacturing processes integral to our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Support the testing and evaluation of mechanical components and systems to ensure compliance with performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design manufacturing and quality assurance to facilitate successful project completion.
• Contribute to problem-solving discussions and propose engineering solutions under supervision.
• Document test results and assist in preparing technical reports and presentations.
• Participate in safety reviews to help maintain a safe working environment.

What Were Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering degree program or a related field.
• Basic understanding of engineering concepts materials and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks AutoCAD or equivalent is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
• A proactive approach to learning and eagerness to take on new challenges.
