An opportunity for an Industrial Performance and Improvement Engineer (ETT) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will support the newly created and integrated Performance & Improvement Team (TAOMIP) for the MRO Value Stream of Airbus Defence and Space: An empowered business partner consisting of shop floor centric architects & facilitators dedicated to driving Operational Performance & Improvement across MRO Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will support the TAOMIP team mostly through local tasks and activities in Getafe. Some tasks may have to be completed in an international context.
P&I activities can amongst others comprise of the following tasks:
Supporting Safety initiatives the number one priority in our Operations environment in an innovative and convincing way
Support OES Master Plan related activities in line with plant priorities and pain points supporting the Production areas
Lead OES internal assessments and support OES transversal assessments or deep dives
Drive and coordinate Excellence Committees taking accountability in the distribution of actions and follow-up with the MFT
Manage and implement Performance Management routines (BSC/SQCDP) standardization throughout the different levels of the organization in the Value Stream
Customize KPI tree across the Operational Value Stream ensuring the right connection with the objectives
Support and manage continuous improvement (TIPs)
Promote and manage employees improvement ideas generation in the Plant
Support communication for new initiatives being the channel of connection with the shop-floor
SKILLS
Education: Aeronautical Industrial Engineering or Business degree.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing is desirable ideally in a MRO context.
Languages: Advanced level of English mandatory Spanish and German are a plus.
Soft skills: Proactive mindset reliability team player. Transnational work experience is a plus.
