Job Description
Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Cloud Consultant to join our Maryland team.
AWS Cloud Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Consultant to join our team and guide clients through their cloud adoption migration and optimization journeys on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AWS services best practices and architecture coupled with exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
Required Skills:
- Experience designing developing testing and maintaining web-based applications using AWS services. Prefer experience using AWS managed serviced ( API Gateway AWS Lambda Amazon EKS Amazon ECS)
- Containerization and container orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)
- Scripting and automation experience using Python
- Defining and developing to interfaces for various data sources using both relational and non-relational database technologies
- Infrastructure as Code experience (AWS CDK or Terraform)
- Full stack web development experience preferred but not required
- JavaScript/TypeScript experience preferred but not required
- Experience automating deployment of AWS-based architectures using DevOps practices including automated testing and CI/CD practices
- 2 years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications
- 2 years of software development tools and methodologies
- 2 years of experience with documentation and written communication.
- Within 6 months--AWS certification--Solutions Architect--Associate
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
