Job Description:
Overview
The Information Systems & Technology (IST) department at the University of Waterloo provides information systems technology and services in support of teaching learning research and administrative needs across IST the Student Information Systems (SIS) team provides technical support for several information systems primarily the student system Quest and Gideon Taylor platforms implemented in Oracle Peoplesoft Campus SIS team collaborates with partners across campus to deliver services supporting the academic mission of the University.
Responsibilities
IST is seeking an Information Systems Specialist (Developer) to join the Student Information Systems (SIS) team. The incumbent will collaborate with colleagues in SIS and their partners across campus to analyze business and functional requirements to deliver solutions impacting users of the SIS suite of applications including Quest and Gideon Taylor. Key competencies will include knowledge of software development tools and practices customer service creative problem solving organization & planning communication and teamwork.
