Index Analytics is seeking a Product Owner to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. The Product Owner will collaborate with our customers to define product requirements develop a product understanding and communicate effectively to both business and technical audiences to deliver solutions. Using Lean-Agile principles the Product Owner will manage product development and focus on delivering value through minimal viable products.

Responsibilities

• Manage Product backlog across multiple products (e.g. prioritizing and negotiating clarifying requirements defining MVPs developing roadmaps soliciting customer feedback).
• Work with stakeholders to define product vision and requirements
• Drive product vision into delivered products and solutions
• Communicate requirements to developers testers and stakeholders
• Demonstrate product functionality to stakeholders
• Work closely with the scrum master in executing the scope

• US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
• Bachelors degree or relevant discipline required.
• 10 years of experience at least 5 years professional experience managing requirements and backlog.
• Demonstrated ability to break down complex requirements into actionable work items
• Knowledge and experience of Agile software development methodology
• Demonstrated ability to work with engineering and analytics teams to discuss technical concepts make tradeoffs to remove roadblocks and evaluate new ideas.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication required
• Ability to multi-task and to manage multiple workstreams
• Prior experience with Center for Medicare Medicaid Services or other Govt agencies is a plus

The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position applicable across all locations. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as the candidates skills qualifications experience and market conditions.
