Job Description

Established in 1987 Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE) is a prominent joint-venture between Air Liquide Group a global leader in gases technologies and services for Industry and Health and Far Eastern New Century recent years ALFE has emerged as the top French company in terms of investment in Taiwans manufacturing industry. Presently ALFE boasts a workforce of over 780 employees and maintains a strong presence with 40 offices and plants located in Taipei Hsinchu Taichung Tainan Kaohsiung as well as the major Science Parks across Taiwan providing critical high-quality industrial gases specialty gases and advanced materials.

As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) you will serve as a key enabler of people strategies that support business performance and organizational close collaboration with business leaders and regional HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) you will help deploy HR programs deliver on local HR priorities and provide hands-on support for key people-related matters across the employee lifecycle. This role acts as a critical liaison between the local business and the regional HR structure ensuring global standards are effectively adapted to meet local needs.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

1. Business Partnership & HR Support
- Partner with business managers to understand key priorities and deliver tailored HR solutions that align with functional and market needs.
- Support the implementation of people plans that drive business objectives productivity and employee engagement.

2. Execution of HR Programs & Initiatives
- Work closely with regional CoEs (Talent Acquisition Learning & Development Rewards etc.) to localize and implement HR programs and processes.
- Ensure seamless execution of annual HR cycles including performance management goal setting and employee feedback processes.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as a first point of contact for people-related topics providing day-to-day HR advisory to managers and employees.
- Drive initiatives to promote a positive work environment and employee engagement including communication events recognition programs and culture-building activities.

4. Policy Implementation & Compliance
- Ensure local compliance with labor laws internal policies and ethical standards.
- Help cascade global/regional HR policies and adapt them to meet local regulatory and operational needs.

5. Talent & Development Support
- Support managers in workforce planning hiring coordination (including working with headhunters or temp agencies) onboarding and retention efforts.
- Collaborate with regional L&D teams to help identify development needs and execute training programs at the local level.

6. Organization Development & Performance Support
- Work with managers to define job roles competencies and development plans.
- Support talent reviews promotions and career discussions in alignment with regional guidelines.

7. HR Data & Budget Coordination
- Contribute to headcount planning and personnel budgeting in collaboration with local managers and regional HR.
- Track key HR metrics to support decision-making and report on workforce trends as needed.

8. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other HRBPs and CoEs to share best practices and align consistent execution of people strategies across the region.

Are you a MATCH

- Master degree or above in HR Business or related field
- 58 years of HR generalist or business partnering experience ideally in a matrixed or regional/global organization.
- Solid understanding of local labor laws and HR practices.
- Experience supporting both white-collar and operational (e.g. manufacturing sales) teams is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
