We are seeking aBespoke Applications Specialistto join our team in Portugal.
Description of tasks:
- Providing a request fulfilment service for a defined set of services;
- Work side by side with the development team and ensure the quality of the code;
- Gathering the customers information analysing thesymptoms to determine the customers issue and confirming what the customer is trying to accomplish;
- Resolving straightforward and simple issues;
- Perform user provisioning (create modify and deactivating) for all systems hosted by the Client;
- Investigating more elevated issues using more advanced technical troubleshooting and analysis methods;
- Seeking and applying known solutions related to such more complex issues;
- Raising issues that cannot be solved by these methods to the expert level support group;
- Triaging and routing tickets with business enquiries that are despatched to the business.
Technical Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience as an Application Support / Developer;
- Previous experience in any of the following technologies would be an advantage: Java Weblogic HTML XML SAP FLEX Javascript Documentum Hibernate Lucene ASP JSTL and BEA Oracle SQL Windows Server;
- Working knowledge of common operating systems and software applications.
- Previous experience using a document management system;

- Able to work in an international and multicultural environment.
