About the Role
TNA is looking for a Technical Service Engineer who will be responsible for carrying out installations commissioning maintenance and ongoing service and support to customers in a timely manner whilst always promoting TNAs professional image.
Additionally the role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and prospective clients with the objective of achieving sales revenue and growth according to targets across Brazil.
With our Head office based in Jundia Brazil this position will be reporting directly into the Branch Manager Brazil.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Always promotes and presents a high level and professional image of TNA.
- Ensure sound knowledge of TNAs products and services is developed and maintained to ensure accurate communication to customers.
- Collate weekly timesheet and present results to the Technical Services Manager.
- Ensure installations are completed on time and in accordance with all specifications and documentation.
- Provide first second and third level support in relation to breakdowns and/or customer queries responding by either telephone or site visits promptly.
- Responsible for providing routine maintenance and planned services of TNA equipment in accordance with schedules.
- Provide training to customers and internally within TNA in relation to proper operation preventative maintenance and fault finding of TNA supplied equipment.
- Assist mechanical engineers with R&D through product trialling.
- Provide support and work closely with the Sales Team and Customers to conduct product demonstration and trials either in a TNA office or at customer sites.
- Work with Project Engineers in the lead up to installation ensuring correct layouts and documentations have been received.
- Test all electronic and mechanical equipment returned to TNA.
- Develop strong professional relationships with all customers and provide feedback to the Sales Team regarding prospective capital investment obtained through such relationships.
- Attend and work at trade shows / exhibitions held throughout the year (including some weekends).
- Carryout audits costing and refurbishment of machines.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of competitors and competitor pricing.
- Liaise with Helpdesk on workloads and manage helpdesk when scheduled.
Desired Knowledge Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferably in Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of service experience including repair and testing of electronic and mechanical equipment.
- Experience in automation.
- Experience in a field engineering role dealing with mechanical and/or electrical and software issues.
- Completion of a trade and/or undergraduate degree would be advantageous.
- Exposure to the food and packaging industry is desirable but not mandatory.

- Good computer skills knowledge of Excel Word & PowerPoint (DOS & Windows).
- Be fluent in Spanish. English is a plus.
- Current Drivers license.
- Valid Passport and prepared to travel at short notice locally and overseas.
