Job Description:
Data Analysis Manipulation
Utilizing both SAS and Python (with libraries like Pandas NumPy) for data extraction transformation cleansing and analysis from various sources.
Statistical Modelling Analytics
Developing implementing and validating statistical models and predictive analytics using SAS procedures and Python libraries (e.g. scikit-learn).
SAS Modernization Conversion
Analysing existing SAS programs and workflows identifying opportunities for re-engineering and converting SAS codebases to Python Spark for improved scalability and efficiency.
Automation Workflow Development
Building and maintaining automated data pipelines reporting systems and analytical workflows using Python scripting.
Collaboration Communication
Working with business stakeholders data engineers and other teams to understand requirements translate them into analytical solutions and present findings.
Documentation Best Practices
Documenting code processes and methodologies to ensure consistency maintainability and knowledge transfer.
Troubleshooting Optimization
Identifying and resolving issues in data processes and analytical solutions and optimizing performance of both SAS and Python code.
