Job Summary

  • Challenge yourself to construct and analyse complex flying patterns and rosters

  • Permanent full-time opportunity based at our Qantas Campus in Mascot 

As a Senior Analyst Pattern Planning & Rostering you will be responsible for optimising and building patterns and rosters for Cabin Crew ensuring operational stability and cost efficiency. You will play a key role in adhering to enterprise agreements fatigue management programs and engaging in industrial consultations. Additionally you will provide actionable insights and analysis to multiple stakeholders while identifying process improvements. Your responsibilities will include constructing compliant flying patterns responding to crew queries supporting business decisions and managing ad hoc projects.  

Youll have: 

  • A degree in aviation business finance or 1-3 years of relevant experience 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel for data analysis and reporting 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly 
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy in all aspects of work 
  • Ability to implement logical checks to improve accuracy and identify process improvements 
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment  
  • Flexibility to adapt to operational needs and challenge existing work practices for continuous improvement 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think commercially and strategically 
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively 
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI 
  • Jeppesen experience (desirable but not essential)
