Who we are looking for

Were looking for an experienced people leader who brings clarity consistency and confidence to workforce optimisation. This role suits someone who is comfortable leading experienced professionals setting clear direction and creating alignment across teams. Youll bring a calm considered leadership style and enjoy working with complexity data and systems to improve how things operate at scale.

While experience in rostering or workforce planning is helpful its not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead people well think analytically and work collaboratively in a service-driven environment.

What youll do

  • Lead and support a skilled workforce rostering team fostering engagement collaboration and shared accountability
  • Provide clear direction and structure to support consistent effective workforce planning practices
  • Drive workforce optimisation strategies that balance customer outcomes workforce capability and financial sustainability
  • Use data systems and technology to analyse trends inform decisions and improve rostering outcomes
  • Partner with operational leaders and People & Culture to support service delivery and workforce planning
  • Oversee rostering approaches that minimise agency use overtime and cancellations
  • Deliver clear reporting and insights to support informed decision-making at senior leadership level
  • Role model a customer-focused values-led approach across all interactions

What youll bring

  • Demonstrated experience as a people leader with the ability to guide support and develop teams
  • A logical analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability
  • Confidence working with technology systems and data to drive improvement
  • Experience in workforce planning rostering or operational optimisation (desirable not essential)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative values-driven approach aligned to AnglicareSAs purpose and culture
