OSHC Coordinator | Canning Vale Area

Canning Vale OSHClub is looking for a passionate and motivated Outside School Hours Care Coordinator to provide engaging services for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent full-time opportunity for 38 hours per week guaranteed leading a team of Educators at a medium 60 licence capacity service. This is a fantastic opportunity for those experienced in working with children dedicated to take ownership of an existing great and large service and passionate about development of a team with great support structure provided by the leadership team.

Hours are as follows: Monday Friday 06:30 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 03:00 6:00 PM (Stay and Play Program)  additional admin hours. You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

About the role

Leading a team of Educators you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. Youll have the support of a state specific office plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

• Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
• Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents
• Lead a team of Educators onsite including roster management
• Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

Who are we looking for

We can teach you about the job and sector but a few basics you need to have:

• Enjoy working with kids
• Strong and clear communication
• Team player with a desire to become a service leader
• Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (well pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
• Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
• Australian work rights

Qualifications :

Looking for an experience qualified educator with background in supporting children with complex needs and support families from diverse background
