Job Summary
The person in this role will be responsible for identifying and reporting bugs and glitches translating user stories into test cases and automating them as well as testing our web application and performing exploratory testing using their extensive testing knowledge.
Youll be responsible for:
Reviewing and analyzing system specifications
Collaborating with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
Writing test cases based on user stories
Creating logs to document testing phases and defects
Reporting bugs and errors to development teams
Helping troubleshoot issues
Conducting post-release/post-implementation testing
Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Qualifications :
QA methodology knowledge (ISTQB Foundation)
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Testrail JIRA)
Windows advanced user
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Strong organizational skills
Experience with test automation will be considered as a plus
