The Role

The Shopify Developer will own the end-to-end development and optimization of the company s Shopify storefront. This role combines front-end and back-end development conversion rate optimization (CRO) and continuous improvement to ensure customers experience a seamless and high-performing ecommerce journey.

Key ResponsibilitiesShopify Development

• Customize and develop Shopify themes using Liquid HTML CSS and JavaScript.
  
• Implement new features and functionality to enhance store performance and user experience.
  
• Optimize site speed ensure mobile responsiveness and maintain high coding standards.
  

A/B Testing & CRO

• Design implement and run A/B tests to improve conversion rates and user experience.
  
• Analyze test results interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  
• Implement winning test variations into the Shopify codebase.
  

Front-End & Back-End Development

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps scripts and integrations using Shopify APIs.
  
• Work across both UI/UX and back-end data handling to support business and technical needs.
  
• Collaborate with designers marketers and product teams to align the storefront with brand and business goals.
  

Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with the latest Shopify features trends and best practices.
  
• Proactively suggest and implement enhancements to the store.
  
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance ensuring optimal uptime and performance.
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with strong knowledge of Liquid HTML CSS and JavaScript.
  
• Hands-on experience building and optimizing Shopify themes apps and integrations.
  
• Familiarity with A/B testing tools CRO principles and data-driven development.
  
• Solid understanding of ecommerce performance metrics (conversion rate AOV site speed).
  
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (design marketing product).
  
• Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and passion for creating seamless digital experiences.
