Job Description

As the organization continues to scale globally ecommerce is a critical growth engine. The company is seeking a Shopify Developer who is passionate about combining cutting-edge technology exceptional user experiences and data-driven performance optimization.
The Role
The Shopify Developer will own the end-to-end development and optimization of the company s Shopify storefront. This role combines front-end and back-end development conversion rate optimization (CRO) and continuous improvement to ensure customers experience a seamless and high-performing ecommerce journey.
Key ResponsibilitiesShopify Development
- Customize and develop Shopify themes using Liquid HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Implement new features and functionality to enhance store performance and user experience.
- Optimize site speed ensure mobile responsiveness and maintain high coding standards.
A/B Testing & CRO
- Design implement and run A/B tests to improve conversion rates and user experience.
- Analyze test results interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Implement winning test variations into the Shopify codebase.
Front-End & Back-End Development
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps scripts and integrations using Shopify APIs.
- Work across both UI/UX and back-end data handling to support business and technical needs.
- Collaborate with designers marketers and product teams to align the storefront with brand and business goals.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with the latest Shopify features trends and best practices.
- Proactively suggest and implement enhancements to the store.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance ensuring optimal uptime and performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with strong knowledge of Liquid HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing Shopify themes apps and integrations.
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools CRO principles and data-driven development.
- Solid understanding of ecommerce performance metrics (conversion rate AOV site speed).
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (design marketing product).
- Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and passion for creating seamless digital experiences.
