Job Summary

Role: Wordpress Developer

Priority Location: Philippines / Latin America

Working Hours: 8AM - 5PM PST (Mon - Fri)

Salary Range: $1200 - $1800 USD ($) per month (The final offer is at the clients discretion and depends on the candidates interview result skills and experience.)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop customize and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
Convert designs and wireframes into fully functional WordPress sites using HTML CSS JavaScript and PHP.
Ensure websites are optimized for speed scalability and SEO.
Manage website updates security patches and content integrations.
Implement custom functionality using WordPress hooks filters and APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve user experience.
Maintain documentation of code processes and systems.
Stay up-to-date with WordPress core updates best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

Required

3 years of professional WordPress development experience.
Strong proficiency with Elementor and Wordpress
Strong proficiency in PHP HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (ES6) and jQuery.
Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
Familiarity with REST APIs Git and Composer.
Experience with page builders (e.g. Elementor Gutenberg Beaver Builder) is a plus.
Understanding of website performance optimization and security.
Knowledge of responsive and cross-browser design principles.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment.
Possess strong English fluency and a professional demeanor suitable for direct client interaction
Be able to work independently and be proactive whilst maintaining good communication with the Owner

Preferred

Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and deployment tools.
Experience integrating third-party APIs.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
