Job Summary
Role mission
What you ll do
Reporting & QA
Maintain core Google Sheets reports across Finance and Marketing
Proactively fix broken formulas and scripts implement automation where feasible
Run periodic data accuracy checks with documented QA workflows
Respond to feedback and requests from the Chief Analyst with high precision
Cross-team collaboration
Gather data/reporting needs from Finance Marketing and Sales functions
Translate needs into usable reports dashboards or analyses
Document reporting logic assumptions and workflows for transparency
Modeling & forecasting
Build financial models and forecasts that support strategic decision-making
Support marketing funnel analyses sales forecasts and growth projections
Apply statistical techniques to optimize conversion and campaign performance
Data systems
Work with data warehouses (e.g. Google BigQuery Google Cloud) for advanced reporting
Help define the long-term reporting stack and roadmap alongside the Chief Analyst
What success looks like (KPIs)
Data reliability: % error-free reports over time; reduced ad hoc fixes
Reporting velocity: Average turnaround time for new reports or updates
Forecast accuracy: Variance between forecast vs. actuals within agreed thresholds
Automation impact: Hours saved per month from automated workflows
Stakeholder satisfaction: Positive feedback from Finance Marketing and Sales teams
Requirements
2-4 years experience in analytical or reporting-focused roles
Proficiency in Google Sheets (formulas macros Apps Script automation)
Experience in building financial models and forecasts
Some statistical background (A/B testing conversion optimization regression)
Experience with API integrations and automating data flows
Bonus: experience with data warehouses (Google BigQuery Google Cloud)
