As part of the ESA/ESTEC team you will have the following responsibilities:
- Support oversight of the ESA BIC network and its further development including a closer connection with ESA projects and activities (not major but contribute).
- Support the management of the Agencys network of brokers and de-risking scheme providing industry with the opportunity to find funding to bring their innovative ideas closer to market from feasibility study and design to demonstration;
- Support on building intelligence reports on innovation trends and on new space activities: this involves (if requested by ESA)
- Contribute to other activities of the Commercialisation department as required.
- Support to the Country Management Germany specifically ESA BICand ESA Technology Broker Germany.
- Support the closure of the running year
- Support the set-up and kick-off for the new contracts with ESA for the entities mentioned above.
- Support to the respective TEBs for start-up and technology transfer project selection.
- Potentially support the respective deputy service manager in his tasks that he currently has
- Potentially support on technical support requests if needed.
- AOB in discussion with the deputy service manager
- Contribute to Service documentation and deliverables (Quarterly Report).
Qualifications :
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Master in Science Engineering in a space relevant technical field;
- Track record in technology or business consulting or project management experience;
- Previous experience in business administration or technology assessment would be an asset;
- Familiarity with the services provided by ESA would be an asset;
- Understanding the needs and expectations of the Commercialisation Department and the mission of the European Space Agency would be an advantage;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
