- Prepare precise cost estimates budgets and bills of quantities for civil engineering projects.
- Monitor project costs track expenditures and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Prepare interim valuations variation orders and final accounts for projects.
- Assess and manage risks related to project costs and timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or construction projects.
- Professional certification (e.g. NIQS RICS) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction costs materials and procurement processes in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g. QS Cad CostX or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards in the Nigerian construction industry.
- Team player with a proactive and results-driven approach.
