Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Prepare precise cost estimates budgets and bills of quantities for civil engineering projects.
Monitor project costs track expenditures and ensure adherence to budgets.
Prepare interim valuations variation orders and final accounts for projects.
Assess and manage risks related to project costs and timelines.
Collaborate with project managers engineers and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or construction projects.
Professional certification (e.g. NIQS RICS) is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of construction costs materials and procurement processes in Nigeria.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g. QS Cad CostX or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Knowledge of local regulations and standards in the Nigerian construction industry.
Team player with a proactive and results-driven approach.
