Location: Lagos.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare bake and present high-quality pastries desserts and baked goods.
- Supervise junior pastry chefs and commis staff providing training and guidance.
- Ensure consistency in recipes portioning and presentation standards.
- Assist in developing new pastry and dessert recipes for menus buffets and events.
- Maintain proper stock levels of ingredients and minimize wastage.
- Uphold strict hygiene sanitation and food safety standards in line with HACCP.
- Collaborate with the wider culinary team to support banquets events and special functions.
- Report maintenance needs for pastry equipment and ensure proper usage.
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts Catering or related field with specialization in pastry.
- Minimum 3 5 years experience in pastry within a hotel or fine-dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques chocolate work bread and plated desserts.
