Job Summary

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a nursing home in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Assist the person in charge or the unit manager in providing direct resident care as well as clinical and professional leadership of the care staff.
- Make sure that the high calibre of care is given to residents and their families.
- Make sure each person is acknowledged as an individual and that their needs rights and comfort are prioritised when providing care.
- Build rapport with residents to support their autonomy well-informed decision-making and evidence-based decision-making.
- Promote and maintain resident safety and provide quality care through respecting the privacy dignity and rights of the resident.
- Maximise the residents capacity to exercise personal autonomy and choice.
Requirements
- A registered General Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered.
- Two years or more of postgraduate experience working as a senior staff nurse or certified nurse manager
- Qualifications for a Post Graduate Diploma in Gerontology Management
- EU/EEA citizenship
- Experience in gerontology psychiatry adult disabilities and psychogeriatric nursing care.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the ageing process.
