We are hiring a CNM1 ;Paediatric Ambulatory Care to a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Outstanding clinical judgment and communication abilities to improve the process of referring new pediatric ambulatory services from general practitioners (GPs) and multidisciplinary team members.
- Develop your ability to evaluate and triage children for evaluation by scheduling a consultation with the proper consultant as needed.
- Help general practitioners triage children appropriately so that the right services are referred.
- Oversee and plan the Ambulatory Services daily patient and family care activities.
- Examine workloads and skill requirements to address the needs of patient and family care.
- Keep the Paediatric Service Manager informed about weekly activities unit requirements and any incidents.
- Acts as a resource for patients families and other staff members who are present at the service.
- Helps with patient care assessment planning execution and evaluation as needed.
Requirements
- In excellent standing as a registered NMBI general and pediatric nurse.
- PALS currently in place or eager to start within a year.
- Although not necessary pediatric venepuncture skills are preferred.
- Preferably three years of experience as a pediatric nurse.
- Proficiency in teaching leadership professional judgment critical thinking problem-solving and a commitment to professional growth are all required.
- Must exhibit the ability to multitask.
- Fluency in English is required in all forms of communication.
- Make use of time management techniques that work.
- Be prepared to pursue studies and eventually become proficient in pediatric venepuncture techniques.
