Job Summary
Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Cash Management
- Unlock 13-week forecasts every second Monday of the month for Cash Flow Owners data population
- Lock 13-week forecasts every second Thursday of the month
- Initiate in online banking platforms cash centralization of all excess funds after reviewing forecasted Ending Balances
- Request Loan Agreements for intercompany loans via the JURO platform
- Payments and Funding
- Initiate in online banking platforms all entity funding based on forecasts and lists of actual payables
- Initiate online banking platforms all third-party loan interests repayments and other financing dues.
- Initiate in online banking platforms all earn-outs closing payments and other acquisition-related payments.
- Monitor payment approvals and completion status for all initiated transactions via the tracking spreadsheet. Resolve issues as and when they arise.
- Send proof of payments or transfers to concerned parties
- Banking Management
- Serve as primary administrators on online banking platforms
- Assist on Loan Summary presentation and Bank Confirmation for external audit
- Prepare necessary bank forms for loan drawdowns loan rollovers and prepayments (if any).
- Serve as primary contact for banks on day-to-day payments or process issues.
- Maintain strong bank relationships while managing global banking structure
- Month-End Close
- Prepare interest invoices of intercompany loans for the group
- Submit a signed ECB Return form for HSBC India for intercompany loans
- Prepare interest accruals of third-party loans
- Prepare FX rates ensure accurate upload to Netsuite and monitor successful import of rates in all Cash Flow reports.
- Account for all month-end bank balances through bank statements
- Reconcile month-end bank balances against cash book balances in NetSuite
- Account for all current and non-current bank borrowings through loan agreements loan schedules or other certified documentation.
- Reconcile bank borrowings against reported numbers in NetSuite
- Submit Net Debt Summary to Consolidation team
- Compliance and Controls:
- Ensure compliance with company policies local regulations and international financial standards.
- Maintain and improve treasury-related policies procedures and internal controls.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements within the treasury function.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline treasury operations.
Qualifications :
It could be you if you have:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury finance or related roles.
- Knowledge of banking management.
- Awareness of financial instruments cash management principles and risk management.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
It also helps if you:
- Are familiar with specialized Oracle NetSuite accounting software
