Job Description
This is a remote position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer specializing in system integration and deployment automation.
- Strong knowledge of IRS systems protocols and security requirements.
- Active Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance or higher.
- Expertise in scripting and automation using Python PowerShell or Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes Docker Swarm).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools (e.g. Jenkins Ansible Puppet).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong capacity to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Effective communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
