Fullstack MuleSoft Engineer

Role Overview

A senior full stack engineer with strong experience in MuleSoft integration and API-led connectivity. Someone with a solid foundation in Java and backend development and hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. A certified MuleSoft professional who can design build and manage APIs and integrations in a distributed cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain MuleSoft Flows and integrations using Anypoint Studio and related tools.
• Build and maintain services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Lead the modernization of integration architecture and contribute to microservices design.
• Work closely with architects and product managers to align on integration strategies.
• Ensure performance scalability and security of integration solutions.
• Promote best practices in API design testing and CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for cloud-native deployments (e.g. Kubernetes GCP).

Qualifications :

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Work Experience & Skills

• 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on integration and backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful APIs JSON XML and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a process-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for clean code automation and continuous improvement.

Certification: Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer Level 1

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with API governance and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. DataDog Prometheus GCP Monitoring).
• Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2 RBAC mTLS).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
