We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PMO Analyst to join LGC and provide governance to various key projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) by providing analytical insights managing project portfolios and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
Role Responsibilities
- Project Portfolio Management: Coordinate and manage the project portfolio ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategic objectives.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed data analysis to provide insights and recommendations for project improvements. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to improve project efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and maintain PMO standards methodologies and guidelines.
- Collaborator Coordination: Collaborate with project managers team members and collaborators to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Risk Management: Monitor project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Prioritisation: Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure efficient use of resources across projects.
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience. A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) would be advantageous.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within project management or PMO positions showcasing a demonstrated ability to effectively handle complex projects and portfolios.
- Having a background in the Life Sciences industry is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong skills in project management software and tools (such as MS Project JIRA Trello).
- Capability to operate autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
