- Deliver high-quality teaching of the Key Stage 2 curriculum ensuring pupils are fully prepared for SATs and secondary school transition.
- Provide strong pastoral support promoting resilience independence and teamwork among pupils.
- Teach upper KS2 content including advanced maths (fractions ratio statistics) extended writing and reading comprehension skills.
- Assess and track pupil progress using data to inform planning and interventions.
- Work in close partnership with colleagues parents and the wider school community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and strong KS2 teaching experience.
- A proven track record of success in teaching Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging challenging lessons.
- A reflective adaptable and resilient approach to teaching.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusion.
- Passionate about helping children achieve their best both academically and personally.
