Job Description

Temp To Full-Time

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Fire Alarm Technician with our client based out of Vancouver WA. The successful candidate will hold a low voltage/Limited Energy license in OR and WA.

Pay: $40/hr DOE and Certifications

Shift: Monday through Friday w/ some on call duties

Fire System Technician Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of fire protection systems including fire alarms and sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.

  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of fire protection systems.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections designs and installations for compliance documentation.

  • Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of installed fire protection systems.

  • Install configure and maintain low voltage systems such as fire alarm and safety systems.

  • Program test troubleshoot and inspect low voltage systems.

  • Utilize hand tools and equipment to build and repair low voltage installations.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems and computer networking.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Assist in alarm system sales by providing technical expertise to clients.

Fire System Technician Requirements:

  • Limited Energy/Low Voltage license in OR and WA.

  • NICET II in Fire Alarm Systems.

  • Proficiency using a PC.

  • Experience with IP network-based systems.

  • The ability to install and connect radio and cellular dialers.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients contractors and regulatory agencies.

  • Valid drivers license.
