Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our clients team in Vancouver WA. This role supports the installation programming maintenance and inspection of low-voltage fire alarm and life-safety systems across commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise professionalism and strong customer-facing communication skills.

Pay: $40/hr DOE & certifications
Schedule: MondayFriday with some on-call duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Install configure program and maintain fire alarm and low-voltage life-safety systems

  • Perform inspections and testing of fire alarm and sprinkler systems to ensure code compliance

  • Troubleshoot issues with fire alarm circuits devices panels and network-based systems

  • Collaborate with construction teams to support proper installation and system integration

  • Utilize hand tools meters and diagnostic equipment to build repair and modify system components

  • Maintain accurate documentation for inspections installations programming and regulatory compliance

  • Train clients on fire alarm system operation maintenance and basic troubleshooting

  • Assist sales teams with technical insights related to fire alarm upgrades or new installations

  • Communicate effectively with clients contractors and internal teams to ensure successful project completion

What You Bring

  • Limited Energy/Low Voltage license in both Oregon and Washington

  • NICET II certification in Fire Alarm Systems

  • Ability to install connect and program radio and cellular communicators

  • Experience with IP network-based systems and PC-based programming tools

  • Strong customer-service skills and professional communication

  • Ability to work to precise specifications codes and standards of accuracy

  • Valid drivers license and dependable punctual work habits

Maybe You Have

  • Experience leading fire alarm installation or inspection projects

  • Familiarity with multiple fire alarm manufacturers and platforms

  • Additional NICET certifications or electrical safety credentials

Work Environment
