Director of Learning & Development
This position is responsible for leading the strategic planning and implementation of all training and development initiatives across the hotel waterpark and beach club. Partner with senior leaders to design and deliver impactful programs that align with our brand values operational goals and guest expectations ensuring every team member has the tools to grow and succeed.
- Partner with the Director People & Culture to align the L&D strategy with the overall people strategy and brand vision.
- Develop and execute a cluster-wide L&D strategy aligned with business priorities and brand standards.
- Design implement and evaluate training programs for all departments including front office F&B operations safety guest services and leisure.
- Drive leadership development succession planning and talent pipeline initiatives.
- Lead onboarding programs to deliver a seamless and engaging new hire experience.
- Monitor training effectiveness through KPIs audits feedback and operational performance.
- Partner with department heads and the P&C team to identify learning needs and opportunities for development.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning excellence and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with local training requirements health & safety and hospitality best practices.
- Regularly evaluate training effectiveness through post-training assessments feedback and ROI analysis.
- Manage L&D budgets resources and vendor relationships efficiently.
- Support internal communication and engagement efforts in collaboration with the People & Culture and Marketing teams.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience of 57 years in a similar role within luxury hospitality ideally in a cluster or resort complex environment.
- Previous experience in the Middle East is preferred.
- Experience supporting diverse operations including hotels resorts theme parks or leisure venues.
- Strong understanding of hospitality service excellence and guest-centric training.
- Expertise in instructional design facilitation coaching and digital learning platforms.
- A people-first leader with outstanding communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelors degree in HR Education Business or a related field (Masters or certifications in L&D/Training preferred).
- Multilingual skills and cultural awareness are a plus.
