Job Summary

Exciting opportunities for permanent full-time positions are available at Epworth Freemasons in East Melbourne. Working in a VMO model across 12 theatres and supported by a 24-hour ICU you will work across differing surgical procedures including adults; paediatrics; general surgical; gynaecology; urology; ENT; maxillofacial; orthopaedics; endoscopy; plastics and maternity services.

You will make an impact by:

  • Planning reviewing and implementing patient anaesthetics and recovery care
  • Recognising and responding to changing needs of the patient
  • Applying a safety-first mindset that sees a positive patient experience outcome

For you to be successful in this role

If you are a registered nurse (RN) seeking a position in a supportive and collaborative perioperative environment this opportunity may be for you. You should possess strong communication skills be self-motivated and have a natural ability to show compassion and empathy towards patients. Additionally you will benefit from being part of a dedicated and experienced leadership team.

You will have:

  • Anaesthetics or PACU experience
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA Nursing registration
  • Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM PM and twilight shifts
  • Broad experience gained across a variety of surgical specialties

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses AUD $82236 - $103280  super entitlements depending on registration type year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
