About the Opportunity

We are looking for a special kind of person a St Vincents kind of person. Someone who puts compassion connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do (heartprint model).

As a Registered Nurse you will work closely with Clinical team comprising of Clinical Manager Clinical Nurse and other Quality team. You will ensure the provision of quality patient/resident/client care through clinical nursing practice promoting collaborative relationships amongst the health care team and maintaining a customer-focused approach to nursing across the continuum of care.

All positions contribute to the provision of quality and sustainable health services within the ethos of the philosophy mission values and ethics of the St Vincents Health Australia. Things that work for us:

  • Availability for Fixed Term position.

  • Availability for night shifts (22:00 - 06:30)

  • Ready to work with roster pattern as below:

    Week 1: Mon Tue Fri Sat Sun
    Week 2: Mon & Sun

  • High experience in working with Dementia clients would be an advantage

  • Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential

  • Clinical nursing practice experience in an aged care facility

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan

  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

  • Nationally Coordinated Police Clearance Certificate or NDIS Clearance
