About the Team
Were the AI Incubation team a global group that thrives on a mix of on-site collaboration and virtual teamwork. Our culture is open fast-paced and innovative with a strong focus on learning experimentation and knowledge sharing. To accelerate our impact we are building a vibrant internal Community of Practice (CoP) around Artificial Intelligence and we need a passionate and creative leader to bring it to life and drive its expansion.
What Youll Do
As the GCID AI Community Leader you will be the heart and soul of our internal AI ecosystem. Your mission is to build nurture and grow a dynamic community of AI enthusiasts practitioners and experts within the company. You will be responsible for creating the content driving the conversations and organizing the events that connect and inspire our members.
In this role youll:
- Build the Community:Be the central force in developing and executing a strategy to grow and engage our internal AI Community of Practice.
- Create Compelling Content:Use your graphic design skills to design and produce visually stunning assets including internal newsletters event promotions educational infographics presentation templates and posts for our internal communication channels.
- Drive Engagement:Plan promote and host a variety of community events such as virtual tech talks workshops Q&A sessions with experts and networking meetups.
- Manage Communications:Craft and manage the internal communication plan for the AI community ensuring a consistent and exciting flow of information to keep members informed and engaged.
- Be the Voice of the Community:Serve as the main point of contact for community members fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where knowledge sharing and collaboration flourish.
- Collaborate and Connect:Work closely with AI experts data scientists engineers and business leaders to source content identify speakers and align community activities with strategic goals.
- Measure Success:Track and report on community engagement metrics to demonstrate impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
Who You Are
We are looking for a creative energetic and highly motivated recent graduate to pioneer this role. You are a natural connector who is as passionate about great design as you are about building relationships. You are fascinated by the world of AI and are eager to play a key role in fostering an innovation culture.
- A Creative Communicator:You have a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Communications Marketing or a related field. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds who can demonstrate the required skills.
- A Talented Designer:You possess proven graphic design skills with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create clean modern and engaging visual content.(A link to your portfolio is required with your application).
- An Excellent Communicator:You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in bothEnglish and Spanish.
- A Community Builder at Heart:You have a genuine passion for connecting people sparking conversations and building vibrant communities.
- Tech-Curious:You have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence technology trends and innovation. You dont need to be a coder but youre excited to learn and talk about it.
- Proactive and Organized:You are a self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail and a drive to get things done.
- Bonus Points:
- Experience creating content for internal communications in a corporate environment.
- Experience with internal collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint Yammer Slack Microsoft Teams).
- Experience organizing events (virtual or in-person).

A Day in the Life Could Look Something Like This:
Your morning might start with a coffee while you check the communitys internal channels welcoming new members and sparking conversations. Youll then jump into your design software to create a striking graphic for an upcoming AI Demystified webinar.
Mid-day youll have a quick sync-up call with an AI engineer from our team in Germany to prepare them for their presentation at the webinar youre organizing. Youll use your communication skills to help them translate complex ideas into engaging content for a broad audience.
In the afternoon you could be hosting a 30-minute virtual AI Coffee Chat a casual networking event for members. Youll finish your day by drafting the weekly community newsletter highlighting member achievements and sharing the most interesting AI news before scheduling it to go out to our growing list of subscribers.
