Nobu Miami is the Miami outpost of Chef Nobu Matsuhisas new Japanese cuisine empire. Nobu draws upon his classical training at sushi bars in Tokyo and his life abroad in Peru Argentina and around the world to create a whole new trend in Japanese cuisine bringing a burst of excitement to the already famed scene of Miami Beach.
Located in the Nobu Hotel at Eden Roc Nobu adds an extra level of class and sophistication to the iconic hotel. Nobu Miami now offers patio seating as well as an exclusive Teppan Room. JOB DESCRIPTION
Highly Acclaimed Nobu Miami Beach Restaurant is currently looking to expand our Culinary Team. We are looking for reliable hardworking and professional Line Cooks. All candidates must possess knowledge of restaurant kitchen procedures basic knife skills and a solid understanding of food preparation and health code standards.
The Line Cook prepares food that meets current federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations by following established policies and procedures and ensures that safe and high quality food service is provided at all times. He or she prepares all items needed for service from chopping vegetables to making sauces and butchering meat and may be asked to prepare items for another station or special event.
The ideal candidate for this position has one year prior experience in a high end/fast paced food service setting. Additional culinary training/coursework highly desired. He or she must be committed to the customers reliable to his or her co-workers and be a self-motivated organized and detailed individual. Effective oral and written skills good time management skills speech and behavior are all required for this position.
