Quality is of critical importance in the Aerospace Industry it underpins product safety and ensures our products meet our customers and regulators demanding requirements. Securing a graduate role in GKN Aerospace Quality will place you at the heart of ensuring GKN is the most Trusted and Sustainable Partner in the Sky.

Ourtwo-year Quality Graduate Programmeis designed to give you variety guidance and the confidence to build a strong foundation for your future career. Youll rotate across key technology functions and sites developing technical expertise while strengthening the collaboration problem-solving and leadership skills youll need to thrive.

As part of the programme you will:

  • Rotate across quality disciplines to build understanding of how quality contributes to business success. As part of your rotation you will learn about Quality Systems Quality Compliance Quality Assurance Quality Engineering Product Safety and Quality Leadership.
  • Develop leadership skills and Learn about the fundamentals of how a leading Aerospace business works.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on global projects to ensure business effectiveness founded on compliance to internal and external requirements.
  • Undertake Quality specific training such as AS9100 Quality Lead Auditor and Regulatory Production Organisation Approval awareness. You will have the opportunity to start your journey to professional accreditation through the CQI. (Chartered Quality Institute)
  • Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Six Sigma Lean and Root Cause Analysis and GKNAs Brilliant Basics.
  • Participate in internal and external audits contributing to corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analyse data and metrics to identify trends and drive quality improvements.
  • Engage with senior leaders and mentors through structured development programmes and networking events.
  • Participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.
  • Extended placements at our UK manufacturing sites with scope for international exposure through project activity.

From day one youll take part in a structured onboarding and development journey supported by a mentor buddy and our Global Graduate Community giving you encouragement guidance and opportunities to build your network.

Beyond your core role youll also have the chance to contribute to community projects STEM outreach and our early careers strategy because at GKN Aerospace we believe in making a positive difference together.

What Youll Bring

Were looking for curious motivated graduates who want to make an impact in aerospace.

To join our programme youll need:

  • Enthusiasm creativity and passion a critical and analytical thinker with the drive to grow into a future leader and technical expert.
  • A2:1 or higher degree achieved within the last two years in a relevantquality engineering or scientific discipline(e.g. materials science physics medical or related fields).
  • A genuineinterest in aerospace and excitement about the role it plays in shaping the future of our world.

What To Expect In The Selection Process

Our application process is designed to be simple and supportive:


1. Apply online by completing our application form including a few pre-screening questions.


2. Take part in an online assessment if you meet the initial eligibility criteria. Once youve been sent the link you will have 2 weeks to complete the assessment.


3. Meet one of our friendly team members (yes a real human!) for a virtual interview if youre successful at the assessment stage. To be held during December.


4. Join us at our Assessment Centre at the Global Technology Centre in Bristol to be held on 10th 11th or 12th of February. This is where you will get the chance to showcase your skills and potential.


5. Begin your journey with us in September 2026 as part of our Graduate Programme.
