Fabrication Inventory & Receiving Coordinator

Key Obsessions:

Own the Receiving Process

o Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.

o Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and escalate issues promptly.

o Ensure all materials are labeled and stored in designated locations.

o Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment for loading and unloading trucks.

o Maintain a clean organized and safe receiving area.

Accuracy in Inventory Transactions

o Perform timely and accurate inventory transactions in the ERP system.

o Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

o Minimize inventory variances through disciplined data entry and tracking.

o Ensure traceability and documentation for all received materials.

Operate with Urgency and Efficiency

o Prioritize hot parts and critical materials to keep projects on schedule.

o Communicate proactively with purchasing quality and production teams.

o Approach all tasks with a mindset of right part right place right time.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in receiving inventory control or warehouse operations preferred
• Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment helpful
• Familiarity with ERP systems and barcode scanning tools preferred
• Experience or training with computers and ability to learn and use Aagard specific software
• Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
• Ability to lift push pull up to 50 lbs. (utilize 2 person assist if needed)
• Ability to frequently bend stoop squat push or pull part containers
• Valid drivers license required
• Must be highly safety conscious
• Strong prioritization time management organization proactive decision-making and attention to detail
• Confidence and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writing
• Sense of urgency and passion for excellence
