WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):
As a Procurement/Inventory Specialist youwouldbe responsible forthe maintenance and reconciliation of the Automated Inventory and Purchase Requisition System as well as Inventory Control. This consists of planning monitoring and follow-up of open orders to ensureoptimalinventory levels. You wouldassistin the development and maintenance of departmental databases. Input packing slips to ensure timeliness of invoice processing.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCEFORGOOD(Key Responsibilities):
Maintain inventory control for materials to ensureoptimalinventory levels andtimelyreception of supplies and materials. Reports inventory status andneedsto management.
Performs data entry of material requisitions and packing slips on the automated Purchasing and Inventory Systems for the region/division.
Assists the Shared Services Center with invoice/shipping problem resolution ofpurchasingorders. Interacts with regional staffregardingchangesonpurchase orders returned goods and invoicing problems.
Tracks lot numbers for regulated materials andreportsstatus toappropriate staff. Maintains record retention system for regulated and non-regulated procurement documents.
Sets up new files andmaintainsexisting filing systems in the receiving area for regulated and non-regulated documents.
Assistsin the development and maintenance of database files and reports.
Resolves routing problems and forwards problems of a more complex nature to management.

Standard Schedule:Monday - Friday 8 - 5 (7:30 - 4:00) can be a bit flexible if needed 30 mins to an hour.
Pay Information:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Associates degree or equivalent related experience is.
Warehouse and inventory knowledge Coupa experience required.
Minimum 1 year of related experience; prior experience in materials management and data entry preferred.
Requires aptitude to work with figures.
Effective verbal and writtencommunicationsskills and the ability tointerface withall levels of staff.
Prior experience with personal computersto includeExcel AccessWordor Oracle.
Physical Requirements
The duties are representative of the essential functions of the position. Operational flexibility isto meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Available to work overtime other shifts early mornings eveningsholidaysand weekends. Requires standing stretchingstoopingand bending for extended time periods. Lift pullpushand move objects of up to 50 pounds. May work in walk-in refrigerator/freezers for periods of time. Work under pressure and within time standards. Required to wear protective clothing such as lab coats gloves face shields etc. when there is exposure to blood and blood products and/or where work location requires.
