Job Summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Journeyman MI Electrician Licensed for projects in the Commerce MI area.

PAY: $35-42/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 10-hours workdays 5 days per week
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 6:300 am-7:00 pm
START DATE: ASAP
Duration: 6 months

Electrician Job Description:

Were looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our this role youll take on a variety of responsibilities from installations to troubleshooting repairs inspections and mentoring apprentices.

Responsibilities for Electrician:

Install electrical wiring to ensure safe and reliable systems in homes businesses and other environments
Troubleshoot electrical issues identify causes and provide repair solutions
Repair electrical wiring systems and components
Inspect wiring components and electrical products for safety and code compliance
Train and oversee Apprentices and less-experienced Electricians
Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve performance safety and efficiency
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing crouching twisting upper body working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Position requires the use of PPE including: Steel-Toe work boots safety vest hard hat safety glasses and gloves
Must have standard electrical hand tools.

Qualifications:

Valid Journeyman Electrician License from the State of MI and OSHA 10
Strong ability to read and interpret 3-line diagrams and provide innovative solutions
Comfortable with technology including Microsoft 365 Suite and solar component certifications
Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues such as faulty wiring malfunctioning circuits and equipment failures
Hands-on experience with tools such as wire strippers receptacle testers pipe benders and cable cutters
Ability to read and interpret blueprints for electrical setups
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations

Additional Requirements for Electrician:

Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
