Join a collaborative anesthesia team at a respected Michigan hospital providing care across a full patient demographic from pediatrics to geriatrics. This is a supervised CRNA role with a strong focus on general surgical cases and opportunities to engage in neurosurgical procedures and spinal anesthesia.
Job Description- Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
- Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure
- Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures
- Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process
- Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op intra-op and post-op)
- Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies procedural protocols and safety standards
- Work four (4) 10-hour shifts per week
- No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts)
- Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases
- Work alongside a team in multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments based on need
- Respond to emergencies and provide airway management including intubation if needed
Perm Placement/Conversion Fees:
Locum to Perm Reduction in Conversion Fees:
- CRNA:
- 160-319 hours $2500 reduction
- 320-639 hours $4500 reduction
- 640hours $5500 reduction
- Regardless of number of hours a CRNA has worked reduction will not exceed $5500
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
