Key Obsessions:
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on CNC and other manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose mechanical electrical and control system issues quickly and accurately.
Calibrate and fine-tune machines to maintain peak precision and performance.
- Facility Performance and Safety
Maintain and repair facility systems including HVAC plumbing lighting and other building infrastructure.
Monitor and document facility conditions to ensure a safe efficient and compliant work environment.
Follow OSHA guidelines and promote a strong safety culture through daily practices and collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement and Maintenance Excellence
Use or learn CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to log track and analyze maintenance activities.
Identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions that improve machine uptime and reliability.
Stay current on new technologies maintenance techniques and equipment advancements to expand skills.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance processes and overall equipment effectiveness.
Knowledge and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification or associates degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance and facility maintenance.
- Experience with or ability to learn CMMS software with provided training.
- Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Proficient in using hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs stoop kneel crouch crawl or climb.
- Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Ability to obtain a DOT health card
