Job Summary

Our client a fast-growing firm specialized in fintech is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

Design and deliver comprehensive architecture solutions for modernizing and transforming core banking systems
Assess current core banking platforms highlight their limitations and recommend scalable long-term improvements
Partner with business leaders product managers and domain experts to create detailed solution designs
Lead and align technical teams to ensure on-time delivery of reliable future-ready banking systems
Maintain architectural consistency and integrity across all components of the core banking infrastructure
Proactively manage project risks assumptions issues and decisions (RAID) throughout the project lifecycle
Offer strategic technical guidance and establish best practices and frameworks for core banking transformation initiatives

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related fields.
A minimum of 4 years as a Solution Architect or 10 years in banking technology including core banking systems or platform engineering.
In-depth experience with core banking platforms (e.g. Temenos Finacle Thought Machine).
Solid grasp of financial products transaction workflows payment systems and compliance standards.
Strong foundation in enterprise architecture API-led design and software development patterns
Skilled in modern development techniques like microservices and event-driven architecture
Practical experience in integrating systems and modernizing legacy banking infrastructures
Excellent problem-solving ability detail-oriented strong communicator and confident

Preferred

Strong hands-on experience in building and deploying scalable high-performance applications using Java Spring Boot Kafka and microservices/event-driven architecture
Proven success in a technical Sales or Pre-Sales Solution Architect role contributing to revenue growth
Experienced in leading and collaborating with multiple technical teams
Broad technical expertise with T-shaped skills across areas like cloud infrastructure security and databases
Familiarity with the banking domain is a plus
