Job Description

Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements (like balance sheets and cash flow statements) managing budgets reconciling financial data conducting audits and submitting tax returns. Core Responsibilities
Financial Record-Keeping: Documenting and maintaining accurate financial records including ledgers journals and invoices.
Financial Statement Preparation: Preparing and presenting key financial reports such as balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement and providing these insights to management.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Creating reviewing and managing budget forecasts.
Reconciliation: Reconciling financial discrepancies by studying and collecting account information.
Auditing: Assisting with internal and external audits and collaborating with auditors to prepare reports.
Taxation: Calculating managing and submitting annual tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting principles financial software (like Microsoft Excel) and potentially artificial intelligence (AI) tools for efficiency.
Analytical Skills: Strong abilities to analyze data identify patterns and make informed recommendations.

Required Skills:
Work experience as an Accountant. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
