Job Summary:
We are looking for a Head of Temp staffing vertical. A profit center head who can manage Stakeholders payroll and payroll related compliances and cash flow. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of compliance Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compensation structures maintaining accurate records and a strong understanding of government business processes. Additionally this role includes business development responsibilities to grow the client base.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relations & Stakeholder management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding services payroll matter MIS & other as may be needed from time to time.
Coordinate with clients to understand their payroll requirements and ensure compliance with their policies.
Provide regular updates and reports to clients on payroll status and issues.
2. Payroll Processing:
Manage and oversee the entire payroll process for temporary staff.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll including salaries bonuses deductions and taxes.
Handle TDS calculations and filings in compliance with government regulations.
Maintain and update payroll records ensuring accuracy and confidential.
3. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to payroll and staffing.
Stay updated on labor laws tax regulations and other relevant legislation.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Manage relationships with government bodies and agencies for compliance-related matters.
4. Compensation Management:
Develop and manage compensation structures
Ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.
Conduct regular reviews of compensation policies and practices.
5. Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.
Qualification:
1. Education: Any Graduate or MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.
2. Experience: 6-8 years of experience in payroll processing temporary staffing or related roles.
Skills:
1. Having professional and business acumen.
2. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
3. Excellent understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
4. Familiarity with compensation management and structures.
