Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations and maintenance of solar energy sites
- Ensure efficient and safe functioning
- Manage a team of solar installations technicians and team leaders
- Coordinate installation activities
- Monitor system performance
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Maximise the productivity and longevity of solar installations
- Experience in construction engineering or energy sectors is highly desirable
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems inverters monitoring systems and associated equipment
- Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations industry standards and best practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues optimise system performance and troubleshoot problems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams clients and external stakeholders
- Salary: R300K/yr - R420K/yr negotiable
