Primarily responsible for operating and maintain cleaning equipment and tools. Also responsible for washing dishes chinaware flatware cutlery crockery kitchen vessels sweeping and mopping floors cleaning and detailing equipment etc. Maintains the kitchen dishwashing and back area in an inspection-ready condition in accordance with the companys guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Daily dishwashing of all kitchen equipment china glassware and cutlery
- Correct and careful handling of all kitchen equipment
- Maintaining impeccable cleanliness hygiene and tidiness in the kitchen
- Assisting with the daily cleaning of the kitchen
- Assisting the Executive Chef with the ordering of detergents and cleaning equipment
- Maintaining the companys standards in hygiene as per the HACCP
- Correct handling and storage of all detergents and cleaning equipment used in the kitchen
- Daily garbage separation and disposal as instructed
- Participating in the training programs
Requirements
- Fluently spoken English
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Hospitality degree will be considered an advantage
- Pleasant and communicative character
